(uh...Syd? Don't mean to be out of line, but I reopened this thread. Thought it might be useful. :) Feel free to close it again, though.)
Thoughts on SOS? I enjoyed the Rose/Bernard story. It was sweet and is probably now one of my favourites. Simple, but honest. And I'm pretty sure the Others are blackmailing Michael into working for them...send in someone the Fusies trust, lure them back into the jungle in a vulnerable state so they can all be taken advantage of. It's obvious he cares more about Walt than anything. |

I thought this eppy was good, not amazing(like lockdown) but it was a good plot line.I liked the Rose/Benard flashback it was sweet,I thought they meet alot sooner.I liked the kate/Jack interaction in it,and the bit just before they found micheal.
I don't think Micheal is workin for the others.I don't think he'd do that to the camp.My guess is that the others used Micheal as a trade instead of walt.

This episode was so sweet and wonderful. Really heartfelt and lovely.
Wow...Henry is the biggest creep in the world. He's scarier than Wacko Jacko. Now that the Others have let Micheal go I suppose the Losties will have to give them Henry. Poor Micheal. He looks like he's been through hell. |

I gave this a 4/6, I liked finally finding out about Rose and Bernard. They've been somewhat curious to me.
Fake Henry's comment of ?they?ll never give you Walt?, of course will be a source of talk for all the fans. Finding out how Rose and Bernard met was touching?what could be more chivalrous than helping out someone who is stuck in the snow? Roses? reluctance to invite Bernard for a coffee was the first sign there was more to her than what we knew at that point. ?Dr. Giggles? shunning Sawyer, and asking Kate to go along was quite funny. Kate and Sawyer digging for clams..? What?s next?Ana and Jack praying for forgiveness? I like how Bernard was getting defensive at Rose's mention that maybe they should talk to Jack (about making a huge sign in the sand), claiming that just because he?s a doctor doesn?t mean he?s the boss (sounds exactly what I?ve been saying since day 1?Bernard just made my fav list!!) When Rose then questions his validity as a dentist as no reason either to become ?the boss? is interesting...makes me think something is up with Bernard and his license as a dentist. Proposing to Rose in the most romantic place, Niagra Falls, very sweet. Bernard comments that even though they?ve only known each other 5 months, it feels as though they both have known each other much longer (again, another interesting comment, re: past lives??). I found it very sweet that Bernard still wanted to marry her. We find out that in fact Eko is building a church (I knew it!!). I like Eko's comment that some people get rescued in different ways (without a doubt now, my suspicions are confirmed. I do believe Eko has resolved himself to stay on the island?he has no intention of ever leaving.). Best quote of the night: Bernard to Eko ?I think I liked you better when you just hit people with your stick?. When Locke?s anger overflowed, and he resorted to pounding his fists on the locked armoury door, and fake Henry simply grins, and seemingly enjoys hearing Locke?s desperate pleas (ok, this guy, whoever he is, he just may beat out Ethan for the creepiest character yet). In the flashback of Bernard and Rose driving around the Australian outback, seemingly ?lost?, all the underlying connotations the writers put into this show is amazing. Again, Rose saying that she would have rather spent their honeymoon on a beach (what a coincidence) rather than getting ?lost? in the outback. Isaac situation was very cool. We find out more about Bernards personality when Rose asks Bernard why he always has to ?do something? and why he just can?t leave things be. Bernard, pouring his heart out to Rose tells her that he can?t sit by and do nothing for her, and that he just wants Rose to try, again was touching. Kate and Jack situation, I'm getting kinda bored of. How often do we have to watch these two 'play games' with each other ...? "I like you, but dont' want to say"...give me a break! Finding out the connection between Locke and Rose was excellent. I so love the idea that someone on that island knows of Locke's fate before the crash, and now. But I wonder if Locke knows of Rose's fate before the crash? The whole idea about 'magnetic energy' is very cool. I think it's clear now, that magnetic energy plays a big part on this island, but we just don't know the full extent. More to come on that front I'm sure. And, just like the physic and Claire, I think this Isaac guy somehow clued into Rose's fate and flight 815, which was why he stopped the 'healing'. Rose confessing everything to Bernard was wonderful. Seeing the love he has for her, and about how she doesn't want to leave...touching. Seeing all the couples in the camp together, then a lonely Sawyer by himself, joined only by a returning Vincent, was very funny....kinda sad, but funny. And Micheal...he just looked...not good at all. I cannot wait for next week to hear from him. Question from this epi: - if everyone knows about the parachut dropping the food, why has no one mentioned that fact that if food is being dropped, then someone knows people are there. No one has put 2 and 2 together yet. - Is it a coincidence that Micheal and Vincent showed up at the same time? - The rain?I believe something is up with that?it just suddenly starts with no warning, and it?s always heavy rain. - What was with the crutches in Isaac?s place? - Bernard was a dentist, we know that. But I get the feeling from this epi that there is something behind his story, as in maybe something happened and he lost his license? - What happened to Micheal...he looked drugged or something. |

i think this epi was good. it was over before i know it. :boat:
this epi just gave me more reason to believe that kate has become an other. the question that keeps running through my head is, why did kate automatically know what locker to go to? <_< did anyone notice the black rock?
