Michael and ?Walt? seem to be on an intra-net. Subtle, don't you think? They thrive on tricking us that way. IMO, the splice had no other purpose but to set us up for Michael jacking with the computer and communicating. The result will probably be a "Lost" expectation... :rolleyes: |

Sawyer reminds Kate of her father? Ew. Why did they have to go there??
um..dot points. Before brain explodes - I like horse. Please come back, and be warrior!Kate's silent friend. - Sawyer's hair. - Jack!hands! on almost!nekkid!Sawyer! I think I died around then. - The missing film? meh. They could've made a lot more of it. - Kate's story. Figured something like, but didn't she say she wasn't a killer? I always thought 'Man I Loved'=Tom, and that wasn't directly her fault - Sawyer talking in his sleep. *yay* - K/J. At least *someone*s getting somewhere. Please die, Jack. Thanks. Let me guess..Kate will plead insanity and turn back to Sawyer. Who's hopeful? NOOT meeeeeeee. :D - Go Eko. - Kate feeding Sawyer like a baby. I think I died again. - Charlie thinking Kate's gone insane. *pets OTP* But, yeah. I really liked this episode. It made sense, and gives me the feeling that the writers really do know what's going on. Or I could be mistaken. They introduced the horse, Kate's past..all things they might've planned since the beginning of the show. And I ffwd Sayid's eulogy. *yawn* |

Hmm...In regards to the horse...I wonder if this has any bearing in it's relationship to Kate.
The "Dark Horse" lyrics by George Harrison. 1974 You thought that you knew where I was and when But it looks like they've been foolin' you again, You thought that you'd got me all steaked out But baby looks like I've been breaking out I'm a dark horse Running on a dark race course I'm a blue moon Since I stepped from out of the womb I've been a cool jerk Looking for the source I'm a dark horse. You thought you had got me in your grip Baby looks like you was not so smart And I became too slippery for you But let me say that was nothing new. I'm a dark horse Running on a dark race course I'm a blue moon Since I picked up my first spoon I've been a cool jerk Looking for the source I'm a dark horse I thought that you knew it all along Until you started getting me not right Seems as if you heared a little late But I warned you when We both were at the starting gate I'm a dark horse Running on a dark race course I'm a blue moon Since I stepped from out of the womb I've been a cool jerk Cooking at the source I'm a dark horse. She seems to be escaping something (or slipping away) everytime it apprears. Food for thought anyway. I also wonder if there is any significance to the fact that Kate was wearing a Janis Joplin T-Shirt. |

What about this?
Black Horse is a phrase that can have different meanings. First, it is a gesture of respect to the British "Black Knight" and "Black Arrow" programs, which used hydrogen peroxide and kerosene as rocket propellants. "Black Arrow" put the 100 kg Prospero satellite in a polar orbit in October 1971. Secondly, there is Native American symbolism to Black Horses, said among the plains indians to have powers the ordinary horses lack. Also they are omens of ill fortune if they appear without warning on your horizon Hmmmm |

wow..so much to say...but I'll try to get everything in here before I forget.
I liked this epi..we finally found out what kate did..As for sleep brining up the point that last season, Kate said "I killed the man I love", I believe she was talking about the guy that was in the car with her when she/they were running from the cops, and the car crashed...we never really saw the ending of that, other than the guy (and it's not the marshall I'm talking about) being unconscious, and Kate running on foot, but I would beg to guess that he died then, and as we were lead to believe, he and Kate seemed to have a romantic past. I don't think her saying "the man I loved" was a reference to her father in this epi. - Kate's father's 'spirit' coming through Sawyer, hence Sawyer saying "Why did you kill me?"...I truly belive it was his spirit/soul speaking through Sawyer. - The horse..significant of Kate's issue/past that she had to work through and overcome..similar to Boone's issue of being in love with his sister, and Shannon's issue of her mother/father/family issues. Which, I would like to point out, once Boone and Shannon came to terms with their past issue, they ended up dying...is the fate going to be the same for Kate? I think the end of the epi showed that she resolved her past, which is signified by her approaching the horse (which symbolizes her past), touching the horse, and the horse slowly walking off. I hope I'm not right about this one!!!! And lets not forget, but remember the polar bear..the boar..the 'monster'...and we already know from the film that Dharma Initiative also included some type of experiments..socio-ecological type..which could explain why animals keep showing up, and weird ones at that. - Mr Eko...way cool...now just because he's spouting off a bunch of religious history, doesn't mean he was a priest...I do believe he has some sort of deeply set religious faith to have the outlook he does, but to say he was a priest..I don't know. But, again, cannot wait for his epi in January. - The missing film - how neat was that...and yes, seeing Eko and Locke watching the missing segment while Michael was 'playing' with the computer...nice touch..like everyone else says, now what? - And the message on the computer...Dad?....freaky...I so want to know where the hell Walt is....another station perhaps? Must be, because Walt would obviously need a computer..but again, as mentioned above, Michael is a common name, so is it really Walt, or someone else that also has a dad named Walt? But would that be too much of a coincidence on one island? And, by the way, the whole instant messaging thing on the computer...does anyone else find it odd that they were im'ing on a computer from the 70's???? I find it unbelieveable if the whole Dharma Initiative was founded, uhh, 1960-something...to have a computer with IM capabilities...that's just not realistic..just not right. That technology wasn't around at that time...food for thought - Ugh...how could Kate kiss Jack??? That was just disgusting! - Sawyer, I'm so glad that he's ok. To see Kate walking with him with such a tender touch..very sweet. Kate really does have a thing for him. And when Kate said, "You need a hair cut"...too funny. Sawyer was good too..."Am I in a bunkbed?"...lol...and saying that he thought Kate was pulling his leg and they had been rescued...funny reaction when Kate took him outside. - Very disappointed with how Sayid acted at Shannon's funeral...I too expected way more from him...I didn't like Shannon, but that was just a real let down! Cannot wait for January to roll around...there are some good epis coming up. And the monster returns...again..and Eko will be the one to confront it without fear (or so it would appear) |

My thoughts:
-Whoa. Did NOT see the Jack/Kate kiss coming. I'm glad she 'chose' Sawyer. -The black pony is adorable! -I almost cried when she went to see her Dad at the Army recruiting place. -I missed Shannon's Funeral. What did Sayid say? Next episode (Not until January!?): -Claire finds out about Charlie's heroin in the doll! (Did that not sound like a soap opera promo?) |

Does that sort of answer your question? lmaoo. [/b][/quote] Omg thank you :lol: thats helps a lot. Also, when Sawyer is talking in the begining saying that he loves Kate, is that Wayne too? |
|
|||
|
I hope not =( The Skate shipper in me wants to just erase ALL Wayne from Sawyer. Because..ew. Incest, much? Even if it's just from spirit-channeling. [wtf, by the way]
Maybe it's just 'Wayne' sounds a lot like 'James' when you're half conscious? |
