New people and insight into the Others

--Thats that child with the bear--are they brainwashed or just tied up and forced to follow others, and where are the Others taking the kids.. A walk around town killing people and pillaging?

Murder, threats, and death...woo exciting


Ecko was not talking for 40 days (40 nights) biblical allusion with Jesus in the desert for that amount of time. Maybe? dunno

Are Ecko and Anna a couple? or just close friends

For a minute there I thought Ethan was same guy as Nathan, guess not.

wow! thats all i gotta say lol that was a crazy episode. Next Week is going to be amazing, dont you think? I have one question on this episode though
1-What are the others doing with everyone they took

really getting confusing. I really liked the end 40-Current days. That was cool the whole summary of michael, Jin and Sawyer. I think Sayid's going to try to kill Anna-Lucia pretty soon. Let's see if Locke gets along with Echo and how Jack and the other survivers will react to the death of shannon.

I liked it, it was choppy but I liked it. I don't hate Ana-Lucia anymore.

I'm disappointed Bernard and Rose didn't reunite.

Hi, I'm Lisa. This is my first time posting here. I LOVE Lost, but didn't have TV during season one, so I got to see all of Season One on DVD in like two days.

Anyway, I now have TV and can watch it there or on iTunes. ANYWAY, I don't like Ana Lucia at all. I hope Sayid kicks her ass. I did kinda like seeing how the other survivors came to be where they are. It was obvious it was going to end with the killing of Shannon (which was really sad).

I missed the "original" cast tonight, though.

Glad to have found a board to talk about Lost. I don't know very many people who watch it.

Firstly, Hello Lisa and welcome to the wonderment that IS lostforum.org. I hope your stay is as pleasent and entertaining as humanly possible.

Moving right along, so perchance this will sound significantly presumptuous of me, but from what Goodwin said to Ana it almost sounds like the others have created their own mortal purgatory. I mean think about it, he specifically says they had taken the "good" people, leaving the rest to survive on their own. As well the others put the remaining through a fair clip of pain and fear, what with the hunting them through the jungle and whispering their names once and a while.

Beyond that I found the general direction of the entire episode was actually very original and captivating. Especially with the entire Ana-Goodwin knife talk, that was actually very nerve-wracking. Despite the sort of repetetive ending it was a good episode.

The one thing I truely love about Lost is how, despite the fact they have so much to tell us, and they some how reveal more then we knew, it always ends without revealing the main thing we wanted to know. I mean, we knew Ana shot Shannon, we knew Sayid was pissed, and yet, despite an entire hour of good telivision they end with us NOT seeing what happened. In terms of presentness, we literally only saw ten-seconds more then we did last week *shakes head* its really rather sad.

All that aside still a lovely episode, I do believe the mark in the Hatch (the arrow) was the same from the shark tail (just so you know)

now i dont blame ana for acting like she was/is, i would too. For them tourturing sawyer, michael and jin, was also understandable.

So did anna shoot shannon ???? cause michael said wat was that - as in 2nd shot ??

Dharma logo and QUARANTINE on the door was awsome. Who would say that Good-win wasnt even wet, i didnt catch that 1, i wil have to go back and recheck it, but well done to ana for finding it out :).

also how did theothers have the list of all their names and how they look like ??? something is up there.

according to goodwin, theothers only take good ppl rite? cause apperently the guy which he killed was bad. He also mentioned that all good people are going to be taken and that the kids are in the better place. If they are in the better place then why do they brain wash them ? Because if you remember Claire, she escaped but she cannot remember anything. That is the thing thats playing with my mind right now.

all in all good episode, my friend played the shannon part in slow motion and he says that he say anas gun shoot :( which is a bit disappointing for me as i was 100% sure that it was not her.

We also find out that i was corrent about Boones theory on the plane, as theother person did say "no we're the survivors of flight 815" and thats where it got cut off because ana has cut bernards radio off as she thought it was theothers on theother side :)

anways i'll stop talkin, good epo very good

Darn you got to the whole "Nathan wasnt a good person. That's why we didnt take him" thing Fair Monitor. But anyway I was thinking along the same lines about this group views themselves as the "Pure Ones" or something and think that gives them the right to torment and kill those who are "bad." Kinda interesting...

This ep was really good and I enjoyed seeing Season one from the tailie point of view. I still really dislike Ana though, she was just so annoying in the episode, even right after the crash. I really liked seeing Bernard, i think he is my favorite tailie, but it was cool seeing Eko too.

And on another note: I couldnt help but smile and feel sad when they caught Boone's transmission because it just reminded me of how he died and knowing that the tailies didnt even believe the transmission was true. But its nice to know for certain exactly what their reply was.

OMG, this is the first time I liked an episode since the pilots!

Truely a captivating experience. I don't know where to begin.

Oh, remember how Analucia said once "...with one bullet, one gun.." ? right? Well, Shannon gets shot, and then in the previews for next week, she tells him to stay back and fires a warning shot. If she only had one bullet, then who shot JR? i mean, who shot Shannon? Danielle? The others? Did Locke Stab her? WTFlip?
