I thought there would be seven posts altogether. The main control one, and then maybe separate hatches connected to it--like the Dharma symbol for the company. The different science experiments were: meteorology, psychology, parapsychology, zoology, electromagnetism, and utopian social (splice)--so we don't really know what the last one was exactly. This epi just seemed to be so slowly paced like the first two. I guess I was expecting to find out more--like perhaps see another hatch or more--but maybe later.

How about those vials that Desmond takes with him off the shelf as he is leaving, right after the computer gets shot?
The hatch says Quarantine on the inside and a couple of episodes back Desmond gave himself a shot when the hatch was blown open for the first time.
My theory is the people in the film that have striking similarities to THE OTHERS went to that island to conduct experimental procedures, something that has to do with the electromagnetic pull on the island, remember jacks key floating around his neck when he got next to the Big door?
I think that SOME of the others are actually people from the tail end of the plane or perhaps they found people from the end of the plane from the get go.
Desmond was exposed to SOMETHING as to why was he taking the shot???
It was safe for him as far as I could tell until the hatch blew open
Locke is a mysterious fellow, he use to work for a box company and it just so happens that Hurley owns that company.
Walt has some sort of Psychic powers which is yet to be revealed in more detail but do you remember him looking at the comic before and there was a polar bear in it ? Then they all get attacked by one? And in the flash back where his mother dies he and his stepfather were talking about death and his mother and walt paused for a moment intensely concentrating on something and then the bird DIES.
In the last episode they watched the orientation for station 2, where and what are the other stations? And why if there was a front door to Desmonds place did they find an entrance buried in the ground? Kate left through the front door and Sayid and the other returned through it. Where does it come out at?
