Whoa! Let's not jump the gun hee. I think man of faith is not Locke but Jesus (that's what I'm calling right now)-the guy in the hatch. He played Jesus in THE GOSPEL OF JOHN movie released last year- NOT A COINCIDENCE....
I think there was a whole segment of the show witha religious ovetone- the tour de stad scene.
He's preparing for a "race around the world", and he pointedly asks Jack in a almost biblical style of quote " will you not believe unless you see a miracle? Maybe you are the miracle!" Then before leaving he says "lift it up"(OK guys we can all agree he's NOT talking about the ankle because he laughed when Jack didnt catch on.) And lastly, throughour the times Jack and he talked the word "brother was used", clearly a biblical term of Christian endearment. So to me the man of science...... becomes a man of faith ala Peter from the bible, seeing miracles, denying his faith 3times and then being reminded in the last scene with the snap out of it and trust me(faith) BROTHER... I know one thing it will take faith to get Jack to part with that gun, because right now he's just as likely to put one in Locke's head as to let the jesus guy do it. There were alot of other references to jesus with this guy but I just wanted to point out a few. The music, the wall, sunshine, etc lots! And dont forget the door.. granted they knocked pretty loud but knock ad it shall be opened, light coming out of the hole (spitritual)

what he said! lol GO LOCKE! HE IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER TO BELIEVE IN THAN JACK WHO CANT EVEN NOTICE WHATS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM! *shrugs* At least thats what I think, anyways.
