just had a weird thought, maybe the fortune teller guy that whats her name visited about the baby, was just confused and was actually seeing walt in her future... michael didn't raise walt, someone else did, and now walt has become something he shouldn't have.
i also don't think walt created the others... i think he does make things happen and appear somehow... but i think he's along for the ride in a lot of ways just like the others, despite what he is...

Walt's got powers so strong, even he's incapable of controlling them. In this regard, yes, he did create "The Others." He really just doesn't know it yet.
BTW: What fortune teller? Mind you, I've missed many, many episodes of Lost.
