What if this is all just an extravagant Twilight Zone episode? Is it big wonder that the show stopped coming out on Fox? Granted, the program wasn't doing very well so it got canned, but maybe Lost is the ultimate Twilight Zone episode. What if Forrest Whitaker walks on set in the last episode to conclude the series with the trademark narration?
