Hi,
I'm a huge fan of Lost and I saw the season finale yesterday evening (on my laptop of course, in Sweden they're broadcasting ep 16 this week... but I just couldn't wait! :)

I have a few questions: since I've only seen each episode once, some things might have slipped my mind. I would like you people to remind me of some things: the episode when Sayid confronts Locke about lying, Locke reveals that he was the one hitting Sayid in the head in an earlier episode. He (Locke) then says that he did it because there was no meaning letting the people on the island know about the transmission that said "everyone's dead..etc". My question: was Locke with them when they recieved that transmission? Or did someone tell him about it later? Because I can't seem to remember that he was there when they received it, but like I said, it could've just slipped my mind.
And in the finale, Locke called Hurley Hugo - I don't remember if Hurley told Locke his real name. Did he? I guess maybe he did and I'm just senile. :rolleyes:

Well, about the finale: I was really frightened when the boat showed up and it turned out that the people on it was REALLY BAD NEWS. I think they were terrifying, and I don't think they're from the tail of the plane. I think they have been on the island for a very long time, and I think they're kind of the EVIL ONES. (Making this a good old fashioned story about good and evil.) And they need Walt for some reason, maybe because he's psychic? (But then, how do they know that?)

I personally think that Locke is NOT a good person. I think he was at first, but something happened along the way, and he started to put his own needs in front of other peoples. He does NOT want to end up in his wheelchair again, I think he could do almost anything to prevent it. He also knows Walt has special powers, and Walt told him specifically not to open the hatch but he did it anyway. The hatch is bad news, I think. (And Hurley knows that too know...) I still wonder what happened to Locke at the hatch when the light came. And also, he isn't afraid of the "security system" - so maybe he knows that the people behind it won't hurt him (because he's spying for them).

Danielle taking Claire's baby was understandable, I mean, think about what she's been through! Having her baby taken away and then spending 16 years alone (or together with a bunch of evil people) on a tropical island. I think she's very strong and I also think we haven't seen all of it yet. Her breakdown after she took the baby showed that she is a good person (at least I think so). I WANT to think that Ethan was just one of the evil ones - the others, but maybe he had some sort of connection with Danielle after all.

About Charlie and the heroine: if my theory is true that Locke is some sort of...evil spy <_< then maybe he knew that Charlie some day would find out about the heroine and throw himself into an addiction again. I mean, the easiest way to get rid of people is to have them get rid of themselves... (Like Arzt, blowing himself up.)

At last, I agree with those who doesn't want Sawyer to die. I hope he turns out to be a hero after all (maybe that's why he's on the island, to do something really heroic), but he could also die out there - and Jin too for all we know. But Michael simply has to live so he can rescue his son.

Misdirections in the 3 finale episodes:

Danielle was scratched by Claire. We don't know that Danielle was working with Ethan. We only have a brief flashback of Claire scratching her arm. For all we know, Danielle might have been the one who freed Claire from Ethan's clutches, but Claire freaked out and scratched her. IMHO, it is unlikely that Claire could have escaped without help.

Michael on the phone, asking his Mom to take "him". The implication is that he was asking his mother to take Walt (and that is probably what Walt thought) but that doesn't sit properly with how Michael has been portrayed. I think he was asking his mother to take Vincent (the dog)

Ethan may not have been with the Pirates. The Pirates have guns, while Ethan used a sling.

The Pirates may not be The "Others".

Lost_2005, the word "fag" is a derrogatory term used toward gay people. It's like using the 'N" word toward African Americans. It's offensive that you call these men on the boat "fags" because they are bad people, therefore inferring that gay people at like these men. It's just ignorant.

How else would I describe 3 ppl on the boat in the middle of nowhere just appear and take the little kid?? They aren't "fags" they are A-holes, they are mean, they are bad, they are bastards...there are other words to use that are more accurate, just be careful, you may offend lot's of people. That's all I'm saying
