oh wow...what a great epi!!! Certainly lived up to my expectation!!! Here's my take on it:

HURLEY: Always good for the comic relief..even when Mr. Arzt was made into bird food!! lol...excellent

CHARLIE: Don't do it Cha!!! Do we know for sure that he took the drugs?? No - all we saw what the statue, that's it. So I'm hoping he just took the statue and not it's contents.

KATE: Was ok. Isn't it intersting that the guy that turned her in got a $23,000 reward?? Again, one of the number...23!

SAWYER: No no no no!!! How dare they hurt poor Sawyer!!! He better live or else!! Notice he read the notes in the bottle, and found out someone is worth $16 million??? Think he'll be able to figure out Hugo is Hurley???

JIN/SUN: Loved seeing more about Jin, and how he was really under the control of Sun's father. I wish he would just tell her exactly what was going on and what her father was making him do. Nice of Jin to jump in after Sawyer..he really is a unselfish good guy.

WALT/MICHAEL: You know, a while ago, when we first started hearing that 'the others' wanted the child, I had a nagging voice saying that maybe it was Walt and not the baby. We all just assumed it was the baby...shows we weren't thinking outside the box! But what a great twist!!!

JACK: As usual, just a jerk. Again with the whole idea that everyone should do what he says...he made the comment about how everyone wanted him as the leader but no one would listen to him...well, maybe that should be a hint...he isn't the leader...he's not God!!!! I will never like this guy!!

SAYID/SHANNON: Nice to see Shannon break down that wall she built up since Boone died. I still don't like her, but glad for Sayid that it happened. Sayid was strong ... I liked seeing how he could lead people and get people to do things in a logical manner, rather than letting emotions take over. I vote Sayid as the leader!! lol

LOCKE: He's always interesting, isn't he. Almost taken by the thing, yet shows no fear of anything. And what's with the thing? Invisible camoflauge?? It's almost like that alien from the movie Predator. Did you notice when he was being dragged by the foot, it sounded very much like chains and a winch were pulling him???? Hell of a security system!!

The Hatch: Who will be the first to dare going down that shaft??? Where's it lead..the centre of the island??

The Numbers: Again, Hurley is so obsessed with these. Maybe each of the numbers represents one of the survivors? For example, maybe Kate's number is 23...etc. Maybe each number represents a significant survivor, and that's what the numbers signify...and everyone just has to find out what their number is?

The Others: Creepy creepy creepy...they almost seem like pirates from the old days...what on earth could they want with Walt??

Connections: I loved seeing them all cross paths in the airport or hotel before the flight..and how we saw them settling in before they took off...very very cool!!

I loved this one....awesome awesome awesome!!!! I agree with Lost...10/10!!!

Okay, i'm from England and have just watched it, bout 10 hours later then you guys. Anyway....

Loads of questions have been answered but not as much as i would have liked, and has opened up so much more! :angry:

First of all, this is quite an old question, still unanswered, how the f*ck did the black rock get to be where it is? :boat:

According to loads of spoiler we were supposed to find out a lor more a french chick, something about being related to Claire? :blink:

LOCKE: what a kick arse charachter! saying to let him go. thats come crazy sh**! some1 metionted the sound of chains, i heard that, whats that all about? :unsure:

Walt?! that's gota be the biggest surprise of the episode, those "pirates" looked prety normal, so who were they?! thats crazy! :o

and the hatch, sort of expected something like that, but still no1 knows how it got to be on the island, can't wait till sum1 goes down there, its gonna be locke or maybe sayid.

The ONLY thing i didn't like about the episode was that after reading loads of spoilers and stuff i like that i expected more to happen, like more people dying, though i hope sawyer is not one of them, it was good, awesome in fact, but not what i expected.

I hope you guys have some views on the hatch, the black rock, walt and the others!

OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just WOW! this episode was so awesome! The black rock is the name of the ship, that cleared up my question about why you would call a ship "The Black Rock".

Arzt: holy crap i did not see that one coming, although i thought it was kinda funny in a morbid sense. i mean the guy was talking about how tempermental the dynamite could be and how easy it could go off and he starts waving it around.. And BOOM it explodes.

Security System: whoa what the heck was that black cloud that came out of the hole when jack threw in the dynamite? For some reason the hole with locke being pulled in reminded me of a spider. its called like the trapdoor spider or something and it hunts by pulling bugs into its holey home.

Locke: as creepy as ever and i think there is no way that anyone other than him will be the first to go down the hatch. it is his baby all the through.

Sawyer: :o No! he better be ok or a whole lot of fangirls are gonna flip out, and i will be proudly joining them.

Walt: i had a sneaking suspicion that he would be takin after danielle told sayid and charlie that she heard the others say they wanted the boy, since they obviously didnt want the baby.

Aaron: aww he finally has a name, and a cute one too!

the Others: CREEPY! when they pulled up with the bright light i was just like oh crap oh crap! fetal position! lol

don't get me wrong, this is by far the best show on TV right now, but I thought it was just good, not nearly as amazing as I expected, but still good. They did alittle too much with everyone boarding the plane, which didn't have anything to do with anything. Although the stuff with Hurly was mildly amusing, it didn't serve any porpose. They didn't answer much of anything. Realizing that they HAVE to leave things open for another season, they still didn't get to the heart of what was going on. I at LEAST expected a showdown with "the others". And if those "pirates" (and LOST_2005, watch yourself on the use of the word "fag", makes you sound extreamly ignorant) were in fact "the others", why is there only four of them? How could they really do that much damage to 40 or so other people? and I was hoping to find out what was in the hatch. Hard to believe they spent 2 hours on a topic of them opening the hatch and then not even opening it till the very end. the stuff on the ship was by far the most exciting.

Good all around, but was expecting a lot more answers. They did well with leaving some huge cliff-hangers. You know I'll be back for season 2

And geokral: whose to say there arent other "others" somewhere else? after all that little boat could only hold a few people

first of all when they were showing people boarding the plane they wanted to show us how all of them were connected in some way before the actual flight and that was awsome, everyone basically saw eachother before the actual flight.

And the word :fag: that i used, well ok, how else would u describe 3 ppl on the boat in the middle of nowhere just appear and take the little kid i mean cmon !!!

and if you agree with that ur just weird :/.

I was surprised by how many questions were answered and we couldn't have asked for more. If we did, then we'd know everything and there would be no need for season two. We gotta have more questions created and others left unanswered or we'd have nothing to look forward to. :D

I'm just glad that Turniphead has a real name now. Even if I liked the name Turniphead.

I'm disappointed in Charlie. Chances are if he took a statue, he took the contents too. I suppose the island is testing him as Locke would say. Let's hope he doesn't further succomb to the temptation.

Hurley is now one of my top favorite characters.

Gotta love Sawyer for jumping into the water and saving that rudder.

Jin is now becoming a clearer character, which is great. It makes things that we've seen before make so much more sense now.

And I just can't believe we all didn't see it before. The "others" we're after Claire's baby. They wanted Walt all along. Probably because he's special.

But why would Ethan work with Danielle to take Claire? I'm glad Claire is remembering things and all, but does this mean that Ethan isn't one of the "others" like most of us originally thought?

*sighs* Isn't it time for season two yet?
