here's my take
what an epi...finding out more about Kate...knowing exactly what happened when she long ago said she killed the man she loved....glad we now know what that really meant. As for her mom yelling out help when she saw Kate, I figure her mom had some sort of Alzeihmers disease or something, and she didn't recognize Kate and was scared of her. Sawyer..wow, that bad boy certainly can be cold, can't he. My opinion, he's doing that to 'protect' himself from the hurt of having the only woman he's attracted to, Kate, leave him behind on the island. He's wanting to hurt Kate before Kate can hurt him. Kinda far reaching, but hey... Walt...well now that kid is just freaking me out....Locke touches his arm and he suddenly knows about the hatch...there's so much more to that kid that we don't know. Locke..is Locke. Nothing much has changed with him. Shannon...still no pity for the woman. If only she would be the next to die, I wouldn't shed a tear. Jack...well lodi-freaking-da!!!!! As Locke said, since when does Locke, or anyone else, have to report to him???...'well why didn't you tell me about this'..as if he was the leader of the pack. Gimme a friggin break!!! He certainly put himself up high on a pedistal thinking he was all that!! Jerk!

Am I the only Lost fan who actually LOVES Kate? Like seriously? Favorite character. Well maybe Sawyer, or Locke. But really, she's awesome.
I L-O-V-E-D this episode. From the "time capsule", to the Sawyer/Kate tension, to Sawyer actually telling everyone about her (That one shot of Kate looking at the toy plane that "crashed" into the sand was the best shot EVER) I loved Kate's scene with her mother. I love Kate. So much. LOL

  Who are they? Could be no one. But then why include them? Irrelevant to the storyline that's happening, yet the camera made a point to notice them.
