ok, I know we've talked about this before, but I want to revive a much disputed theory.

I watched the rerun last night, cuz it seems you can always pick up something new in any rerun...and low and behold, I DID SEE ETHAN BREATHING when Cha and Hurley were burying him. In that one shot of the hand, you could distinctly see the blanket moving up and down as if he was breathing.

I didnt' catch it the first time this epi ran, because I was watching the hand, expecting it to move.

I'm curious...did anyone else catch that?

I think that he was dead.
I've been thinking that maybe people that die on the island don't stay dead...or..something...

He diagnosed him as dead becuase he was dead & there really wasn't anything that Jack could have done to save Boone. It's not Jack's fault.

really sid??? i figure there was a very specific reason why JJ did that scene using that camera angle...don't u think it was to emphasize Ethan breathing?? You gotta admit....that is a strange angle....i think there's gotta be a reason for it

Also, it probably would have been easier just to use a dummie for that sceen. If so, why did they use the actor? I know there is a reason for them showing Ethan breathing...
