For some reason every bone in my body tells me that Sawyer did it but then again that's the usual thing that JJ sets you up for create to conflicting characters to make you assume that...but then he makes it so it isn't so then I don't think it's Sawyer

Sawyer was firing a flare for way off so unless he found someone else to fire his flare it could not have been him. (Or very unlikely Sawyer found a reliably timetable delay fuse to fire his rocket)

I want to know who knocked him out but more I want to know why knock him out but not finish the job and kill him?
