Liana watched as the bodied were piled. It sickened jer to even look at the process. Men and women carried the bodies to a loarge pile and lay them together, stacking them like bricks. Some people carried huge logs and wood from the jungle, as the light was beginning to fade. They built up a huge pile, and now all they were waiting for was the setting of the sun. Liana turned her head with eyes ful of tears and walked away.
She saw that new guy, the one who had run out of the jungle, sitting on the shoreline. She wanted to go over and talk to him, but she felt a barrier, something that was keeping her away. She didn't want to talk to anyone now. She wanted to get off this island. She remembered the little boy she sat next to on the plane, slipping her hand into her pocket to grasp the watch. His entire family must be gone. With eyes brimming with tears, she walked as far away as possible as the survivors set fire to the bodies.
