There was silence, and bubbles streamed up through the water past Liana, shining like pearls. Her lungs began to burn, and she saw the light of the suface above her and struggled towards it. She was running out of air.. it was so close, if only she could reach.... She broke the surface of the water, sputtering and gasping for breath. All at once the silence was replaced by the sounds of the plane crash. Screams filled the air, and the the ocean was littered with floating peices of the plane. The main peice of the midsection lay closer to the shore, and flames errupted out of it. Liana, swam toward the beach, fighting the waves and the masses of people. She collapsed on the beach and surveyed the damage done to her. She had a nasty cut on her shoulder, and it stung badly from the salt water. She felt dizzy, her head filled with the sounds of the crash. People were struggling in the water, crying out for help. She rose to her feet and forced herself to go back into the ocean, the red of blood now swirling within its waters. A little girl, a child, was calling for help. Alyssa swam towards her, lifting her up under the arms and raising her head above the water. She carried her back to shore, laying her down on the beach. Her shoulder was bleeding freely now, and the pain was nearly overwhelming.
Liana swam out once again, farther this time, to a middle aged man who was floating in the water. She dragged him back and lay him out on the sand. She checked for a pulse, and for signs of breathing, and found none. The man was dead. She stumbled backwards, dizziness took ahold of her and she callapsed into the warm sand. She fought to maintain consiousness, but in the end she gave in and and tumbled into darkness.
((so that's all there is to it. Have fun!))
